Why I should be allowed to stay up later

This week for writing we had to do persuasive writing. Here is my writing.

I should be allowed to stay up later.

I should be allowed to stay up later these are my reasons:

Firstly, I want more time to do the things I like. The things I like to do are: watch tv, play board games, do art, play with my kitten, read and play. By staying up later I would have more times to do these things I like to do. When I go to bed earlier I don’t have much time so I don’t get to do everything.

Secondly, I want more to spend more time with my parents. Parents stay up later and kids go to bed earlier so if kids stay up later they would spend more time with their parents. If I was allowed to stay up later I could spend more time with my parents without my sisters. It takes me a long time to fall asleep so I shouldn't just have to lie there waiting to fall asleep when I could be talking to my parents.

Thirdly, as I get older  I get more homework and have to stay up later to finish it. Also, as I get older I should stay up later because I don't need as much sleep.

In conclusion, if I was allowed to stay up later I would get more time to do the things I want to do, I would get to spend more time with my parents, and as I get older I need to stay up later because I have more homework and don't need as much sleep. These are the reasons why I should be allowed to stay up later.

Do you think I should be allowed to stay up later?

Great topic and argument! Did you get your parents to agree?
I really like how you have used firstly, secondly and thirdly - it makes it really clear for the reader - each point out you talking about.
